Wait a minute, kapeng mainit.

My mother-in-law gave us this HUGE bag of Jose’s vanilla nut coffee beans last week, so Mikey started using our grinder again and has been making coffee using the pour over method. When you use the pour over method to make coffee, be ready for an explosion of aroma. The first morning he did it, I could smell the coffee from the shower. ❤️

Usually, it’s not too bad because Mikey will quickly pour the coffee into one of our to-go vacuumed sealed tumblers. But yesterday was Sunday and we had no where to go. Mikey decided to make a cup for himself and he even used one of our beautiful tempered glass mugs (thanks Rach!). Then he sat next to me on the couch 😠:

I had a sip. Or two. It was magical. 😱

  1. […] A few nights ago, I had a really vivid dream of drinking a hot cup of coffee. It was so vivid that I could smell and taste it. It was perfect…until I woke up. And Mikey was still on his diet, so I couldn’t even smell (or sip, hehe) the fresh coffee he usually makes. […]
